SAN MATEO, Calif. (AP) — A lucky person in Northern California has won a $225 million Powerball jackpot.

The California Lottery says in a tweet that the winner in San Mateo, south of San Francisco, matched all six numbers in Wednesday night's drawing: 7, 14, 21, 24, 41 and 26.

Lottery officials say it is the sole winning ticket sold in the 44 states that carry Powerball.

The San Jose Mercury News reports (http://bit.ly/1oiPZYK) the winning ticket was sold at Key Markets on South Norfolk Street. The store's owners will receive $1 million for selling the winning ticket.

Another person in Stockton won an $11 million Super Lotto jackpot.

The identities of the winners were not immediately revealed.

The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 176 million, according to the lottery.
