Delta Airlines is adding five warm-weather destinations out of Minneapolis just in time for winter travel.

Research shows planning a vacation can boost your happiness.  Let's face it, winter blues in North Dakota is a real thing.  Most of us dred January, especially.  According to the experts, many people experience an elevated mood for months before a trip in anticipation of their vacation.

Did you know the average person thinks about taking a vacation over 800 times a year?

I read that somewhere recently.  That might be more than I think of sex.  Maybe.  Anyway, now you have five more exotic warm-weather choices from Delta Airlines accessible from the Bismarck Airport with a direct flight from the Minneapolis, St. Paul Airport.

According to the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal, Delta is expanding its seasonal routes, effective December 16th, 2023 from MSP in Bloomington.

These warm weather destinations include:

San Juan, Puerto Rico

Montego Bay, Jamaica

Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

Belize City, Belize

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

I recently checked Delta Flights from Bismarck to Minneapolis and I found them as low as $300 dollars.  You might even be able to afford to fly out of Bismarck to one of these warm-weather destinations, instead of driving all the way to Minneapolis.

I truly do believe that the anticipation of a vacation is one of the best feelings in life.  Life is all about having something to look forward to.  At least it is for me.  If you would like to start planning a possible winter vacation on Delta you can do so here.
