Accused Williston Bank Robber Faces Federal Charges
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A Watford City man accused of holding up a Williston bank last fall is facing a federal charge.
Fifty-seven-year-old Drew Cahours is charged with bank robbery. He is scheduled for trial in both state and federal court in April.
Authorities say Cahours handed a First International Bank teller a note that read, "Don't say anything or there will be trouble."
KXMB-TV reports that Cahours allegedly got away with just under $1,400.
A federal public defender was not available for comment.
