A line of severe storms moved through the Bismarck-Mandan area Wednesday evening (July 6th) which caused a few severe weather watches and warnings throughout the area.

Most of the same areas that normally flood, flooded once again and streets had sitting water until the drainage system was able to catch up once the rain slacked off.

The rain gauge at the Townsquare studios on the Strip in Mandan measured over a inch and a half of rain at 10:20 p.m. The approaching showers and warnings cut Bike Night at Sickies Garage short by about 20 minutes.

The forecast is calling for off and on showers through Thursday as a low system continues to move slowly east.

The silver lining is the weekend looks great and the temperatures rebound into the hot category.
