Since starting at 103.3 US Country in September of 2012, I've been busy getting acquainted with my new surroundings! I moved to Bismarck in the summer of 2011, after spending the past 17 years at Lake Metigoshe. My house was actually 2 miles south of the Canadian border! So when I tell people where I moved, I always add that I'm now "closer to the equator"!!! Seriously, this area is 2 growing zones warmer than where I was. Keeping that in mind, I planted 2 huge vegetable gardens this year, and have numerous flower beds as well. I don't have a green thumb, but I really enjoy my one-on-one time with nature and Mother Earth! I live on a little 5 acre spread south of Bismarck where I've got a great view of the Missouri River valley. I have 3 children, 2 ex-husbands, 1 Sweetie, and 1 cat! I And on special occasions, like one of the kids' games or holidays...we all do, actually, spend time together. It's also nice to have Mom living close-by (she's in Mandan!) IIt's been a while since I've worked on the air! I did work radio and TV in a couple other ND markets, like Minot and Bottineau...and Beulah!! Where I started while still at Hazen High School! But my REAL job here at Townsquare Media is the Live Events Manager. I am currently planning several really cool trade shows we are hosting in 2013...including the Dakota Garden Expo in April, where I can work on greening up my thumb with the help of the NDSU Extension Service!
