Bismarck Bobcats Have a Sweep in the Season Opener Against Austin

The Austin Bruins came into the Bobcats Barn for the season opener Friday and Saturday nights. It was a sweep weekend for the Bobcats.

The Bobcat fans showed up at the VFW Sports Center ready for hockey action, and the Bobcats showed some bright spots and ended up winning Friday night 4-5. The Bobcats entered the 3rd period with a comfortable 4-1 lead, things got a bit dicey, but in the end, Bobcats win.

Saturday Night, the Bruins came into the VFW ready for revenge and did not get it with another loss, the final score of 3-4, another win for the Bobcats.

It's a great start for the Bobcats as they hit the road with in state rivals against Minot, Saturday night.
