Black Friday, Crowds, Long Lines, No Parking, Huge Discounts and a Few Smiles, Some Grouches

Black Friday has come and gone but some of the huge discounts continue throughout the weekend. Parking was at a premium. If you thought you were going to park close to any entrance of a shopping center or store, you had better think again! It was not happening!

The lines to check out were the longest I have ever seen. Some shoppers taking it with stride and excited about the savings, some, not so happy and being the grouch!

And I must admit, I have never seen the Mall this busy, NEVER!

If you did not find what you were shopping for yesterday, you're in luck today! It is Small Business Saturday, where we recognize the smaller merchants and support their shops and business' today!  The Bismarck-Mandan Area are blessed with great small, local merchants with unique and superb products and services. And much of the revenue these merchants produce stays here in our community to help build and make this a great place to live, plus you have a better chance of front door parking and personalized service, which seems to have been forgotten from the larger merchants!
