Carrie Underwood was the reason for many triple takes on the 2017 Grammy Awards red carpet on Sunday (Feb. 12). Her daring red gown was a stunner.

The form-fitting, long-sleeved gown was a shade darker than the Grammy red carpet — few are bold enough to wear red for this reason. However, the metallic flecks in her dress, and the lacy design brought one's eyes up from her shoes to her golden hair. Along the way a high split and plunge just below the neckline no doubt left a few men gasping for air.

The "Church Bells" singer walked the carpet alone; however, she did stop and pose with fellow Grammy nominee Kelsea Ballerini on her way in. Underwood is nominated in the Best Country Solo Performance category, and will perform alongside Keith Urban. Together they'll sing "The Fighters," a song from Urban's Grammy nominated Ripcord album.

Underwood's fashion is the talk of the Grammys each year. Her light up projection dress from 2013 stole the show, and of course there was the year she wore a $31 million necklace. Oh wait! That was the same year! As of yet we've had no reports of jewelry costing more than any small countries.
