The Bismarck Bobcats had a tough weekend. The Cats could not recover from conceding an early third-period goal and fell 3-2 Saturday to the Austin Bruins at the VFW Sports Center, finishing the two-game weekend series with a split.

The Bismarck Bobcats continue to struggle early in the season.  Despite strong play and out-chancing their opposition, the Bismarck Bobcats could not solve netminder Chase Monroe and fell 3-0 to the Minnesota Wilderness Saturday at Northwoods Credit Union Arena, settling for a weekend split with the defending league champs.
