Drinking alcohol is enjoyed by many everyday and moderation with anything is the key.

24/7 Wall St. recently published the drunkest and the driest cities in the country and congratulations to the Midwest, some of the drunkest cities are located in the upper Midwest.

According to the Centers for Disease Control, there are more and more of us are consuming unhealthy amounts of alcohol otherwise known as binge drinking. The definition of binge drinking is four or more drinks on a single occasion for women and five or more for men — and heavy drinking, or eight or more drinks per week for women and 15 or more for men.

With that said, the drunkest cities in America include some communities located in North Dakota. Ranking in the top 10, at number 8 on the top 20 list is Grand Forks. Coming in at 5 is Fargo. Also in the top 20 list are Lincoln, NE, Mankato, MN, Ames IA, Green Bay, WI and Watertown-Fort Drum, NY.
