DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) — The Daytona 500 field will get filled out with the running of the twin 150-mile qualifying races tonight.

Chase Elliott has locked up the pole for Sunday's season-opening race for the second year in a row and will be joined on the front row by Hendrick Motorsports teammate Dale Earnhardt Jr.

That leaves 38 spots on the starting grid to be determined.
