I was born in Fargo and grew up on a ranch south of Bottineau, ND. I started in radio on KBTO-FM Bottineau as a sophomore in high school. I attended Minot State University and began working part-time for KIZZ-FM, then moved over to K-Hit 97. I've been married to my wife, Sheri, since 1992 and we have two kids. I like to spend my free time officiating youth basketball, reading, some hunting and lots of time on the river in the summer.
Hey there, Lar Dawg here, sharing a few items with you about me. First and foremost, thank you for listening to US 1033 and thanks for waking up with me every weekday morning. I’ve been in the Midwest for a while now, over 5 years of that time has been here in Bismarck. I’m used to the winters but I have to admit, I am from South Louisiana, and my family still lives in SoLA. I do enjoy getting down south as much as I can and the warm temperatures of Louisiana
I am a long time 103.3 US Country DJ! When not on the radio, I can be found outside somewhere. Whether with my horses, making hay, or cutting wood, I am an outdoors guy and currently building a cabin that will be moved to my land in the western North Dakota Badlands. Radio is not the only time that I can be heard on the microphone. As most weekends throughout the summer is spent announcing rodeos, ranch rodeos, and bull-ridings in the state of North Dakota
Sam Alex has worked for country stations across the nation and never misses his favorite acts when they come to town. He's been on red carpets for many different awards shows and interviewed some of your favorite celebrities, like Will Ferrell and Taylor Swift. Originally from Chicago, Sam now lives in Nashville, where he hosts the Taste of Country Nights radio show, a syndicated night show which airs on more than 75 stations nationwide. If you ever see him on lower Broadway, get him a pina colada and some BBQ chicken pizza
I was born and raised in a small town, New salem, ND. One thing you learn growing up in a small town is you can't do anything without everyone knowing about it. I started a DJ company out of high school called DTK DJ's. I moved to Mandan and came to US 1033 to expand my career. I started on weekends and moved up to the midday show during the week. I also do many things behind the scenes. It's a lot of fun! I am continuing to try and work up the ladder
