According to Barkworthies.com, their brand is being recalled due to possible salmonella contamination.
According to the Richmond, VA companies website-
"recalling select lots of Barkworthies Chicken Vittles dog chews because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella and eating the products could cause a risk to humans from handling contaminated pet products, especially if they have not thoroughly washed their hands after having contact with the products or any surfaces exposed to these products.
The symptoms to dogs include weight loss, loss of energy, vomiting, and fever.
The recall lot information are for Barkworthies Chicken Vittles- Lot Code 1254T1, 16 oz plastic pouch, UPC code 816807011510.
