Downtown Bismarck's Fiesta Villa will close its doors this month, making way for two new restaurants to open inside the space.

According to The Bismarck Tribune, building owner Dale Zimmerman is honoring Fiesta Villa general manager Pete Conlin's request to keep the business open through the end of the month. Staff members, however, confirmed that Saturday, May 7th, will be the business' last day open.

Once Fiesta Villa has closed, the building will undergo a full renovation, which Zimmerman states will cost $2 million.

When the renovation is complete, the former Bismarck Depot building will be home to two new restaurants, one of which Zimmerman hopes to have open later this year.

Zimmerman is also the owner of downtown Bismarck's Peacock Alley, along with 40 Steak + Seafood in north Bismarck.
