Due to a shortage in de-icing fluid, some flights carrying Bison fans out of Fargo's Hector International Airport have been either canceled or delayed.

Many Bison fans planned to begin their trip to Frisco, TX to watch NDSU attempt to win their 5th straight FCS Championship on Saturday (1/9). However, some passengers were told their flight was either delayed or canceled because of a de-icing fluid shortage. Airport officials have not confirmed that is the cause.

Flights that have been canceled include:

  • 11:15 a.m. flight to Minneapolis
  • 11:38 a.m. flight to Chicago
  • 1:34 p.m. flight to Denver

Flights that have been delayed so far are:

  • 9:10 a.m. flight to Denver
  • 1:15 p.m. flight to Minneapolis

Several scheduled commercial flights are still on the schedule.

The airport remains flooded with green and gold as anxious bison fans hopefully begin their trip to Frisco soon!
