As many North Dakotans can attest, farmers don't just work hard, they play hard too. In the latest craze to go viral, farmers have flooded the internet with "felfies", or the farm version of a selfie.

'Selfie' was recently named the word of the year in 2013, which is defined as:

(n.) a photograph that one has taken of oneself, typically with a smartphone or webcam and uploaded to a social media website.

The phenomenon started when the Irish Farmers Journal started a Facebook contest for fans to send in their funniest "Selfie on the Farm" photos. Little did they know the #felfie would go viral and start an intriguing - and somewhat strange - trend.
