BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Fire caused an estimated $10,000 in damage to a Bismarck apartment building.

No injuries were reported in the Wednesday fire in a third-floor apartment of the 24-unit building. The blaze damaged a deck, siding and soffit.

Investigators say the fire might have been started by improperly discarded smoking materials or by an electrical outlet malfunction. It was ruled accidental.
