Fear not, a melt down is coming up this weekend, until then, we're going to have to plow through some very cold temperatures.

The National Weather Service in Bismarck has issued WIND CHILL ADVISORY for the region including the counties of Burke--McKenzie-Mercer-Oliver-McLean-Sheridan-Morton-Burleigh-Kidder-Stutsman and Logan.

The advisory is in effect until 12 p.m. Wednesday. Wind chill values will be 25 to near 40 below zero. Even though the winds will be less than 10 mph, wind the air temperature as cold as forecasted, the wind chills will be dangerously low.

Take the necessary precautions and don't forget about pets and livestock.

This weekend, temperatures will rebound into the lower 40's.
