Game and Fish Meetings Set Around North Dakota

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — The state Game and Fish Department is holding meetings around the state to give residents an opportunity to talk about outdoors issues.

The agency's annual fall advisory board meetings were getting underway Monday in Watford City and Cogswell. They wrap up Dec. 2 in Bismarck and Killdeer. In between there will be meetings in Fordville, Jamestown, Bowbells and Langdon.

The advisory board meetings are held each spring and fall to give the public a chance to discuss fish and wildlife issues and ask questions of department officials and district advisers. The governor appoints eight Game and Fish advisers to each represent a section of the state and serve as liaisons between the department and the public.
