BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — The North Dakota Department of Mineral Resources has scheduled a hearing to talk about transportation safety and marketability of crude oil.

The hearing comes as the North Dakota industrial Commission is considering new technical rules on equipment in the oil patch.

Officials have set a 15-minute limit on testimony for the hearing, which is scheduled Sept. 23 at the mineral resources office in Bismarck.
