BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A federal jury in Bismarck has concluded that two brothers accused of using a metal pipe and a bottle to beat a woman on the Standing Rock Indian Reservation last April did not intend to kill her.

Jurors found Christopher Rainbow and Jordan Rainbow not guilty of assault with intent to commit murder. The jury found the brothers guilty of assault with a dangerous weapon and assault resulting in serious bodily injury.

KXMB-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1zT6bdl ) that sentencing is scheduled for April.
