Kenny Chesney is kicking off his new tour in Nashville -- twice! Thanks to a high demand for tickets, Chesney has added another night to open the 2015 tour in his hometown.

After a year without Chesney's high energy, high velocity concerts, the 'American Kids' singer announced the Big Revival Tour earlier this month, and it was such a hit with fans that shows all across the country have been selling out in minutes. The amazing response from fans prompted Chesney and his team to wonder if one night in his hometown of Nashville would be enough. So they added one more!

Chesney will be kicking off the Big Revival Tour on Mar. 26 at the Bridgestone Arena, which will be followed up by a second Nashville show on Mar. 27. Tickets went on sale Friday (Jan. 23), but the demand for tickets was so high before going on sale that the extra night was added to make sure all of those Chesney fans out there make it to the big show.

For his part, Chesney has been just as surprised as anyone. "When you take a year off and you’re as far into a career as I am, you don’t wanna assume they’re still as hungry for you," he says. "But I’ve also always said I never want a real fan not to be able to come to the show, so I’m glad I’m able to do two nights in Nashville."

Chesney also credits his amazing team for scrambling to add a second Nashville show just days before tickets went on sale.

“I’m so lucky to have the team I have around me. They understand my idea that just ‘cause it hasn’t been done, why can’t we?" says the 'Til It's Gone' singer. "So when the response [to the Nashville show] was so strong and it looked like people would be left out, I hated that -- especially for the first show of the year. Once again, they acted fast, revamped some plans and made a second Nashville show happen! I can’t wait."

Along with performing some of the most fun country songs on the radio, Chesney is well-known for his concerts, which are always show-stopping and tons of fun. And with openers Jake Owen and Chase Rice, and a trio of revolving stage partners in Jason AldeanEric Church and Brantley Gilbert, the Big Revival Tour will be no different. Oh yeah, did we mention it's also a stadium tour?
