Mandan Man Accused of Crashing Stolen Vehicle

MANDAN, N.D. (AP) — Authorities say a Mandan man faces drunken driving, fleeing and other charges after he crashed and rolled a stolen vehicle near a mobile home park.

Mandan Police Lt. Rick Schaaf tells the Bismarck Tribune the 36-year-old man was arrested Friday after a police chase.

Schaaf says the stolen vehicle entered a ditch near the mobile home park, causing it to flip.

Schaaf says an ambulance was called but the man did not have to be taken to a hospital. Instead, he was taken to jail.

No one else was hurt.
