So yesterday was Morton county Agriculture day or AG day and a fun time was had by all! Here's a recap: One of my coworkers Dolly Dakota told me about this event a couple of days ago and I thought it would be pretty interesting to check out. So glad I did, it was a nice little snapshot of North Dakota right there!

Was able to pet the horses, and cow's and even the goats who were running around for a while. Was able to get a nice education on shearing the sheep so if this radio thing doesn't work out maybe I'll be a sheep shearer Ha!

The only thing I didn't see were the silk chickens (The chickens with the crazy hair ) but all in all what a great experience.  I came away understanding what grass fed chicken were, and it's going to be really hard to make bacon and eggs tomorrow after holding those baby chicks and seeing those cute piglets. Next stop for me is going up to somebody's farm. Thanks Dolly !
