You have to hand it to NASCAR fans who waited over 5 hours for the start Coke Zero 400 from Daytona with a fiery crash at the finish line after Dale Jr scored the win.

The race finally got underway at 10:45 (CST). It was non stop action with plenty of cautions and crashes.

The final lap saw Dale Earhart Jr with the win for the 4th time in his career with a 2 AM end of the race.

The Coke Zero 400 ended with a fiery crash at the line with close to 13 cars in the pile up on the final lap. NASCAR officials say 3 fans were treated for injuries sustained when Austin Dillon's  car went airborne and flew into the catch fence. His engine ended up in the mid-field. Dillon walked out the car with a thumbs up.
