Needless to say, something cold feels good going down. Without a doubt, NDCF has an endless supply of refreshments including water and your favorite adult beverage.

According to the National Weather Service in Bismarck, there is a SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH for the area including New Salem until 11pm. The current radar is showing a severe thunderstorm north of Beulah and Zapp in Mercer Country. This thunderstorm in Mercer does have the potential of producing tornado activity. There was an unconfirmed report of a funnel cloud around Beulah and no additional information was available.

The radar also showing another smaller thunderstorm cell east of Dickenson and north of Gladstone, movement is east.

Needless to say, NDCF is keeping track of all of this activity. As on now, (4:36pm), it's sunny and hot in New Salem.

Lexi Wymann kicked off the afternoon on the big stage and had the party goers hopping.

Still to come is Clay Walker and LOCASH.

More details on NDCF can be found on the festival website.
