The word came late Monday (6/29), a ND federal judge only reinforced something we already knew.

How was he going to rule after Friday's law passed by the US Supreme Court?  U.S. District Court Judge Ralph Erickson's judgment was in favor of Fargo couple who were married in Minnesota in 2013 and were one of seven couples who sued North Dakota for not recognizing their same-sex marriage.

In North Dakota, the law defines marriage as a union between a man and a woman, and it did not recognized same-sex marriages from other states. The judges order states those provisions "are declared unconstitutional and invalid as applied to same sex marriages."
