Soon Bismarck will have more options for coffee and pizza.

The Bismarck Tribune reports that The Starving Rooster which has had much success in Minot is expanding to open a downtown location in Bismarck.

The Starving Rooster serves, pizza, paninis and other items and plans to open in the Spring of 2017. The restaurant will be located on Main Ave between North 5th and North 6th street.

The Tribune also says that a coffee shop called, 'Rocket Coffee' will open up as well. This is a locally owned location owned by someone who is formerly from the West Coast. 'Rocket Coffee' will use a portion of proceeds to help rainforests around the world.

The new coffee location will also have a smoothie bar and home made baked items.

'Rocket Coffee' plans to open at the end of June on Coleman Street in the Copper Ridge strip mall.

The shop already has a website and a Facebook page up and running.
