HARARE, Zimbabwe (AP) — The lawyer for the second suspect in the killing by an American hunter of a well-known Zimbabwe lion says his client has yet to be arraigned because prosecutors don't know what to charge him with.

Farm owner Honest Ndlovu was named as an accomplice in the unlawful hunt of Cecil the lion and appeared in court, but unlike professional hunter Theo Bronkhorst was not charged.

His lawyer Tonderai Mukuku told Associated Press Thursday that prosecutors and police were coordinating to come up with a charge, possibly by next week.

The U.S. Embassy in the capital Harare said it has not received any request from the government to extradite Minnesota dentist Walter James Palmer, who has since gone into seclusion.

The Zimbabwe government has said it is interested in speaking with him.
