BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — The day before Thanksgiving is one of the busiest travel days of the year, and the North Dakota Highway Patrol is increasing enforcement.

The agency says all available troopers will be on patrol in an effort to boost safety.

The patrol also is encouraging motorists to buckle up, drive for the conditions, don't drink and drive, and avoid using cellphones while behind the wheel.
