WATFORD CITY, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota officials will hear from an Oklahoma energy company that wants to build a factory in western North Dakota capable of processing 400 million cubic feet of natural gas daily.

The Bismarck Tribune reports the state Public Service Commission decided Wednesday to meet with Tulsa, Oklahoma-based Oneok (ONE'-oak) Inc. representatives in February to discuss the company's proposal. Oneok is the largest natural gas company operating in the state. It filed an application for the plant in October.

Oneok says the $640 million Demicks Lake factory near Watford City in northeast McKenzie County is expected to be completed in 2016.
