A 17-year old from North Dakota is spending a few days in Florida where she will live out her dream to work with sea turtles.

Mya Lambert suffers from Hodgkin's Lymphoma and the Make-A-Wish foundation connected Lambert with Gumbo Limbo in Boca Raton, Florida where she will search for sea turtle nests, release hatchlings, and care for sea turtles according to WPTV in West Palm Beach Florida.

The West Fargo Pioneer in February highlighted more of Lambert's cancer battle which you can read here. The West Fargo Pioneer reported the fortunate news at the time that Lambert's cancer was in remission and she had completed her last chemo therapy session.

Lambert will be with Gumbo Limbo in Florida until Sunday according to WPTV.
