Now that the weather's perfect for taking a weekend trip out-of-town, at the risk of sounding like a Southwest Airlines commercial, 'Wanna Get Away?' There's a great spot right here in our state.

According to Reader's Digest, the North Dakota prairie near Havana is where you need to go. No, not the Havana that Camila Cabello sings about in her hit song, but Havana, ND. But based on what Reader's Digest had to say about this particular spot, the ex-Fifth Harmony member may as well have been belting out her catchy track about this spot. The Coteau des Prairies Lodge is the destination picked as North Dakota's 'Best Weekend Getaway.'

Reader's Digest had this to say about the destination:

Where to escape for a weekend in North Dakota? Why, the prairie, of course! The Coteau des Prairies Lodge near Havana is a rustic lodge with log and steel architecture. Look out on the vast prairies from the grand great room, enjoy home-cooked meals, and spend time horse-back riding, hunting, fishing, or exploring the nearby Tewaukon National Wildlife Refuge.

From what it sounds like, there seems to be something for everyone at this getaway spot. The drive is an estimated 3 hours, 38 minutes from Bismarck in the southeast corner of the state. So if you're really looking to get away from it all, there's your spot in North Dakota.
