A 53 year old man Rugby died in a pickup truck and horse drawn wagon accident in Pierce County. The accident happened Saturday. The victim has been identified this morning. (5/30)

Bradley Cichos died at the scene of the accident according to North Dakota Highway Troopers. The accident happened  at 4:40 p.m., on State Highway 17, west of Wolford.

According to police reports, a 2006 pickup truck rear-ended the horse-drawn wagon. More people were injured in the accident including the 61 year old driver of the wagon, and a  four year old was airlifted to Trinity Hospital in Minot while 4 other  people were also injured in the accident.

The driver of the truck, 75-year-old Lyle Lima of Wolford, was not injured.

The two horses died in the accident.

The accident in under investigation.
