The word is out. Seems like Sears/ K-Mart has been a struggling brand for a while now. The word has come that 64 K-Mart stores are closing and some of those stores are in the Midwest.

The parent company of K-Mart, Sears Holding Company has informed their employees Friday (9/16) of the closing of 64 store across the country. The closing list does not include Bismarck.

Stores on the list in the Midwest are Moorhead, MN, Sioux Falls, SD, and West St. Paul, MN.

The stores effected by the close will start a liquidation sale Thursday and be dark by the middle of December.

Sears had no comment.
