WILLISTON, N.D. (AP) — Authorities are investigating a string of thefts from oil production sites in Richland County.

The Williston Herald reports there have been 10 thefts in county since December. Authorities say stolen items include solar panels, brackets, copper wire and batteries. Most of the thefts happened in the early morning hours.

The Richland County Sheriff's Office is asking the public for help in the cases. Tips leading to the arrest and a conviction may be eligible for a $1,000 reward.
