Blood Moon

This is going to be a busy weekend with all sorts of activities going on all over the Bismarck-Mandan area. There is another event, you'll have to look to the sky to witness this event,  make time to look to the sky Sunday night for a Blood or Super Moon!

The early morning sky will put on a show early Saturday morning. Set the alarm clock is you want to see it. Saturday morning will be the first of two lunar eclipse that will take place this year. According to NASA-  "the total phase of the eclipse will only last about five minutes, making it the shortest lunar eclipse of the century...

People will be looking up to the sky, if they can wake up early enough to share in the blood moon or total eclipse of the moon, Wednesday between 3:45 until 5:25 AM.

Here in Bismarck, if you're awake very early in the morning, you'll get to witness something that hasn't happen in a while and will not happen again for a long time.
