The CMA Awards' New Artist of the Year nominees are speaking out about their nominations.

Luke Bryan is nominated for three CMA Awards, including the coveted Entertainer of the Year. His good fortune, he says, is "crazy."

He's also nominated for his 83rd CMA Award, for Entertainer of the Year, capping off one of the most memorable years of his career.

The Eli Young Band are nominated once again for a CMA Award for Vocal Group of the Year, a category they've been named in every year since 2012 but have yet to win. But the four-man group says being nominated really is validation enough.

The 2014 CMA Awards nominations were announced this week, and they may be the harbinger of changes coming to country music.

I don't normally offer my commentary on subjects like this and I have kept quite regarding the Zac Brown comments regarding Luke Bryan and in Zac's opinion, Luke's latest hit " My Kind of Night" not being "country" enough and going as far as to call it, the worst song he has ever heard and adding that the song made him want to THROW UP! Really?

Tonight (Nov. 6) is the biggest night in country music: the CMA Awards! I love country music, but honestly, awards shows can get a little dry on their own. So, what better way to make the ceremonies more enjoyable than a good old fashioned drinking game?

One can't blame the casual country music fan for looking at the nomination leaders for the 2013 CMA Awards and asking, "Who?"
