How do you feel about recent instances involving guns in North Dakota schools?

It's a scary statistic, but North Dakota is one of only 11 states nationwide that have not had a school shooting since Sandy Hook Elementary School on December 14, 2012.

HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — Tim McGraw is defending his decision to headline a Connecticut concert to benefit a Sandy Hook group, responding to critics who call it a "gun control fundraiser."

In one of the unlikeliest scenarios imaginable, the rabidly anti-gay rights group Westboro Baptist Church is blaming country superstar Carrie Underwood for the shootings at Sandy Hook elementary school in Connecticut. The group's spokesperson claimed via Twitter that Underwood's support of equal rights for same-sex marriage helped bring down God's wrath upon the innocent victims.

Authorities have released the names of the victims of Friday's mass shooting in Newtown, Connecticut, in which Adam Lanza, 20, reportedly killed 27 people, as well as himself. Lanza's rampage began when he shot and killed his mother, Nancy, at her home before he drove to Sandy Hook Elementary School and killed six adults and 20 children before taking his own life.
