The Body of Missing Country Singer Craig Strickland is Found

Sad new for the fans of country singer Craig Strickland as the Oklahoma Highway Patrol found his body.

According to reports the Marine Division of the Highway Patrol recovered Strickland's body from  Kaw Lake, 8 miles east of Ponca City just south of the Oklahoma-Kansas state line Monday morning.

Strickland and a friend went missing on December 27th after a duck hunting trip when the weather turned bad and their boat was capsized. His friend Chase Morland's body was recovered from the lake a day after the pair went missing. The boat was recovered and Strickland's dog was found alive.

Strickland and Morland were in the country-rock band Backroad Anthem out of Arkansas.
