Some got em, more didn't. We're speaking of Luke Bryan concert tickets for the March 1st show in Bismarck.

It started with Citi card members able to purchase tickets starting on Wednesday, then the secret code on Thursday and then the general public on Friday.

I can't speak of the Citi Card ticket sales, but as far as the secret code sales on Thursday, there we're more disappointed people that could not get through on the Ticketmaster web site than those that could. The radio station was flooded with Facebook comments and phone calls Thursday. We tried to help as many of you as possible.

Then on Friday, ticket sales for the general public, people started to line up as early as 445am in 15 below zero temperatures to get what ever tickets remained. To the disappointment to many again, after 20 minutes of sales, the only tickets that were able to be had were single tickets. The lucky ones got tickets in pairs, but more people left disappointed and took to Facebook to vent their frustration at who ever would listen. It is a pretty disappointing event when the common fan can not get tickets even after camping out in sub below temperatures for a concert.

Who's fault is it? Is it Luke Bryan's management? Or it is Ticketmaster? Many listeners complained on Facebook that it's the fault of ticket outlets like Stubhub, that had tickets, but at double the face value price. How do they purchase blocks of tickets before tickets go on sale?  This we know as a fact, good seats still remain at the time of this story being published for the Luke Bryan Fargodome show, and these tickets can be purchased on line. It is worth mentioning that Fargodome is NOT a Ticketmaster Venue.

The Civic Center did advise us that they have tickets on hold right now. These ticket holders have until a certain date to claim these tickets, if they are not claimed by a  date, these tickets will go on sale to the general public. We do not know when that date will be, but fear not, you still have a chance to buy tickets for the Bismarck Show if and when these tickets get released.

UPDATE- As of 2:30pm, Friday, Bismarck was officially SOLD OUT!

Who's to blame for the ticket mess we had this week?
