Tucker Beathard's newest song and music video tackle a subject that is both universal and deeply unique to the country singer's life. In "Real World Hall of Fame," Beathard reflects on his grandfather's induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame with a little help from his dad, country songwriter Casey Beathard.

Beathard's grandfather, Bobby Beathard, is a former football player and NFL general manager whose teams competed in the Super Bowl seven times and won four times over the span of his nearly-four decades long career. He is set to be inducted into the Hall of Fame on Aug. 4.

While the country singer is proud of his accolades in the sports world, Beathard says that the message of the song focuses on how his grandfather cemented his place in his family's "Real World Hall of Fame" long ago, just by being the person that he is. "Ain't nobody in the world more proud / Than little ol' me, oh my / But even if the folks who made that call / Never would've called his name / It wouldn't change that spot that he's got on the wall / In my real world hall of fame," Beathard sings. "The whole world ain't gotta know your name."

The song's music video takes viewers on an inside tour of Beathard and his grandfather's lives, flashing through scenes of his career in football, as well as intimate family moments and a look inside the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Beathard broke into the country music scene in 2016 with his single, "Rock On," which climbed to No. 4 on the country charts, and a follow-up EP titled Fight Like Hell. In July of 2018, Beathard told The Boot that, following a series of creative differences with his label, he had begun work on a completely independent album that he hopes to put out before the end of the year.
