On Saturday, September 19 the University of North Dakota will take on the Bison in the Fargodome starting at 2:30 p.m.

UND, who plays in the Big Sky Conference, expect a tough game from NDSU, who play in the Missouri Valley Football Conference. UND coach Bubba Schweigert is excited but understands playing in the Fargodome will be a challenge.

If our players and coaches haven't heard 18,000 people booing you, we'll get that. That'll be part of the environment. We know their environment is a challenge for anyone coming in there.

NDSU holds the longest home winning streak in Division I football at 24 straight games. They are also 41-3 at the Fargodome since 2010. The Fargodome has treated UND well in the past as they sit at 4-1 in Bison territory.

The most exciting part of the game may be the fans. Students and alumni from both universities have been talking about this game for weeks. However, NDSU coach Chris Klieman urges fans to stay away from getting too emotionally involved.

It's a big game in the fact that it means a ton to our university and a ton to our alums that played in this. I also know if you put too much stock into that, and you get all emotions up for one game, how do you get emotions up for the next game? We really caution everybody to not be on a roller-coaster.

UND's biggest threat may be Bison quarterback Carson Wentz, originally from Bismarck. After suffering an ankle injury against Montana, Wentz was back for NDSU's home opener against Weber, throwing for 281 yards and three scores.

No matter the outcome, this will be a game to remember. It is unknown when the two rivals will meet again.
