UND Breaking Ground on Aerospace Facility
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — The University of North Dakota is starting work on a new aerospace research facility.
A ground-breaking ceremony was scheduled Thursday for the 66,000-square-foot aerospace research facility at the John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences.
The project is expected to cost about $25 million, with funding from state, federal and private donations.
The school says UND Aerospace's Center of Excellence for Unmanned Aircraft Systems will be a major tenant of the new research building.
