As you should know by now, everyone makes mistakes, even the Minnesota Department of Transportation, who misspelled Wahpeton on a sign they recently installed on Highway 210.

After a few people complained about the misspelling, the MnDOT fixed the sign with a partial overlay, but not before a picture of the original sign made it to Facebook:

According to InForum, only one other sign in the past several years has needed to be replaced by the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

A spokesperson for the MnDOT stated that there is a process in place to make sure things like this don't happen, but sometimes mistakes 'slip through.'

Because the sign was easily fixed, the cost was minimal.
