It's time to talk turkey, the big bird that is common on many tables for Thanksgiving. This got us thinking, what is a good price to pay for a frozen turkey?

Sure, there are many things to take into consideration as you plan your Thanksgiving meal. In Bismarck, there are a few places to buy the frozen bird. But where is the best place to buy a frozen turkey? I guess it depends.

According to The Coupon Project.com, the best range to pay for a turkey is .79-.89 cents per pound. Last year’s best average price was .79 per pound.

After checking with a few local grocers on Tuesday, November 15th, the price at Cashwise was .95 per pound. Cashwise does have a coupon, if you spend a certain amount of money that price drops to .77 cents per pound.

Dan's Supermarket informed us the current price was 1.99 a pound. Although Dan's has new weekly prices coming out Wednesday, November 16th. We did not get an answer in the meat department when calling Wal-Mart.
