Wind Advisory for Burleigh County Friday

The National Weather Service in Bismarck has issued a WIND ADVISORY for Burleigh County plus surrounding counties.

The wind advisory goes into effect at 12 p.m. Friday (9/2) through 7 p.m. The counties in the advisory include Morton, Kidder, Stutsman, Grant, Emmons, McIntosh and Sioux.

Strong winds from the southeast at 30 mph and gusting to 45 mph can be expected.

You're advised to secure loose items including yard and patio furniture and trash cans  plus extra care should be taken for those working on elevated platforms and care when driving high profile vehicles.
