16 Confirmed Dead as Overnight Tornado Rips Through Arkansas Town

Reports are coming in and with daylight approaching in Central Arkansas, it is confirmed that an over night tornado ripped through an Arkansas town last night killing 16, according to Fox 16.

In Mayflower, Arkansas just north of Little Rock, the town was leveled and it is said the death toll will rise at day light. According to Nathan Stamp with FOX 16:

"The city of mayflower between Conway and LR is gone.  Friend of mines house is gone. Took it down to the foundation.  Looks like a war zone.  Vilonia which was hit 3 years and 3 days ago was hit again as well. Leveled.  They were set to open the new school that was being finished from last storm.  It rows leveled.  Reporting 16 dead this morning and the number is expected to climb."
