2013- A Review of the Years Most Annoying Phrases and Words- See if You Agree?

As the end of the year approaches, it seems that we get bombarded with the best and the worst and the most used, less used..blah ..blah lists of the year! So, why not come up with my own list of the most annoying or over used words that you hear or people use on social media.

Here are some words that I find annoying and people use them everyday. There is one example that sticks out in my mind from Christmas Eve services at church. The priest was talking to children about Christmas and the joys and blessings of the season. After every sentence, he would say "right".  For example, he'd say " so the real joy of the season is Jesus, right? Drove me NUTS! I wanted to stand up and say FATHER- STOP IT- RIGHT!

Here is another word that drives me nuts and is over used way too much. Whatever? When someone has absolutely nothing to add to your comment, they show their lack of intelligence by throwing in "whatever".  Here is another phrase that is used a lot in the Midwest, and I am certainly out numbered here, but folks in the region will use the word "with".  This is just me know, but down south( I know, I'm no longer down south) we'd say, Let me go with you. In the Midwest, people end the sentence with "with" and I always feel like they're just not completing the sentence.

What about this phrase 'at the end of the day"- Just stop it! Makes no sense!

Then on social media, you have these acronyms  that drive me crazy such as KMSL- Kill my self laughing, HMU- hit me up and there are others which I can not put into print.
