FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Winter wheat, cattle and sheep all appear to be in good shape in North Dakota.

The Agriculture Department says in its latest crop report that the winter wheat crop is rated 28 percent in fair condition, 58 percent in good condition and 5 percent in excellent condition.

Cattle and calf conditions in the state are rated 86 percent good to excellent, and 83 percent of sheep and lambs are in those categories.

Hay supplies statewide are rated 98 percent adequate to surplus. Stockwater supplies are rated 94 percent in those categories.
